Yeah. He somehow can’t understand the meaning of no, even after she constantly tells him what they had is history.

My husband’s (a single father with 3 kids when I met him) ex is totally psychotic. She’s bipolar and a leach on society. She came back into their lives as soon as she found out that he had a girl friend that was worth anything (not money wise) and convinced the two younger of his kids that she and he would be able to get back together if only I were out of the picture. They’d been apart for about 10 years at that point but a kids fondest dream is for his parents to be together. Because of her they put me through bloody hell for a long time. The two younger ones are also bipolar and learned her “the world should take care of me so I don’t have to do anything for myself” type mentality. Life remains unsettled because we never know what they will do next AND now there are 4 grandchildren between these two kids to worry about. (Our grandchildren that is.)

yup.. it’s even worst when they have a kid for whom they HAVE to still communicate for. Once the ex falls in love with someone new things calm down DRASTICALLY… but if the ex is as bitter as my s.o.’s ex, they will still get under your skin at some point because they are so miserable in their own skin that the only gratification they get is when they think they are pi$$ing you or the s.o. off..

Oh no you are not the only one.
I would love to wipe her out for ever existing!
But the thing is I can’t. So I am focusing on the fact that she is not contacting him anymore and leaves us in peace. Wish his not-so-serious-ex (sort of a FWB) would do the same and just f-off. But she keeps in contact. Just the odd email, but I do not trust the woman at all.
