how do you win your ex back?

i ended it because we were fighting a lot.
we decided to still be friends.
its been almost a month.
we’ve hooked up a couple times.
he told me many times he cared for me and still loves me, etc, etc.
but everytime i bring up getting back together, its awkward for us and we get distracted.
last night i straight up talked to him about it and he doesnt know and he’s confused.
his main points were he still has feelings for me but he doesnt know if its gonna be the same cuz its weird going back out with an ex.
i know i want him back, but he’s not sure, he’s 50-50.

how can i get my ex wife back?
