How to win back your kids in court?

my sister is going through a major custody war with her ex boyfriend and he took her to court with 24hrs notice she lives in san diego and he lives in chino so the case was held up there since he was the petitioner.well she has had the kids all along and he won temporary custody over a lie which was he said my brother poured beer down their throats(my brother lives there with my mom) which is totally not true and my sister is such a good mom she doesnt do any drugs or anything ,he is really trying to hurt her since she wouldnt get back with him, well he has a lawyer and she has another daughter with her exhusband that she has physical custody of for all of her life well the exboyfriends lawyer contacted her ex husband and told him the lie and now he is representing him and this judge went by the same orders the other judge did and he has temporary now so there are one final hearing with the other kids and one final for her daughter what can she do?
trust me i know my sister they just keep harp about my brother i was in court with her

Tell her to straighten up. There’s more to the story. A judge would not take her kids from her on a hear say, there has to be facts such as a history of drinkin or drugs on arrest records.

get a VERY good lawyer…it sounds like there is more to the story (a court hearing held with 24 nhrs notice, in another jurisdiction can only be held for dire circumstances- I would hope that couldn’t happen without physical evidence- but I’m not a lawyer)
also, get to her pediatrician for records of well visits, people willing to go to court to vouch for her character…

Where is her lawyer?
I believe you when you tell me this. I know how crooked some lawyers can be.
She needs a lawyer that is an expert on family law. If her lawyer is not doing his job, she needs another one.
I have had a lot of experience with some of those attorneys in that area and they haven’t been satisfactory. California only prosecutes about one percent of the complaints that the State Bar gets. My husband was a lawyer so I know.
If I were in your shoes call all of the prayer lines that you can and have them pray against this situation. Those kids need to stay where they have been all along and not be disrupted.
